In 2006 FIAP introduce the FIAP Club's World Cup, and it has been
organised each year ever since. This is a PDI competition and is
open to individual clubs World Wide; national associations may not enter.
Entering Clubs are required to submit 20 images from at least five
authors.
In the first five years it has been won by a club from a different
country on each occasion. Clubs from the PAGB have been well represented
from the competition’s inception and in fact the winners in the first
year were Wigan 10 from the L&CPU.
The 6th FIAP Club's World cup was held in 2011 and the results
are now to hand and it is pleasing to see that once again Wigan 10
featured well, being placed third and winning a FIAP Silver Medal as well
as the 2nd "Maurice Dorikens" Trophy for the period 2007-2011.
Individually Phil Charnock is to congratulated for receiving a Judging
Choice Award. Details of the results can be found in the below
