A closeup and derivation of a tile from the Rüstem Paşa Mosque, Istanbul. This mosque was built by Sinan around 1560, when Isnik tilework was at its peak of quality. Monochrome with the colour punched through. Displayed to allow the tile edges to form an eccentric framing.
